the one i was sporting earlier was 100 pixels by 500 pixels - but i think even down to 90 and out to 700 or 800 would still look ok
- more of a post separation, and restricted by space in code if possible

a Giants version for reference, at 100x500:

Koodgee, is it possible to have the forum automatically cut off at 90 in height and centred by default?
- forcing the size would restrict huge things being plastered across the screen

just one ting tho, is it my eyes or is the top edge a bit funky. A bit of white lipping or something a bit funky going on there.

Other than i love it!
simple and effective

yes - some FoxFunk (patient pending)

- was a quick knock out for testing parameters i have in mind - i can clean that up with the final version..... notice mine has it too

try centring the banner too, Brother G Wink

ultimately the idea Niko has for limited showing has merit though - one show in the first post per page maybe?
- no idea how hard to code would be

my personal thought is for the slim size limit code forced, or auto resize to an acceptable limit like 90x800

I believe Koodgee has it on the hit list to regulate the sig banner sized. we spoke briefly about it the other day Wink

Appreciate this tho mate, really does look nice. Now i have looked at yours closer i can see yes indeed you have it on top and bottom.

I eagerly await the final version!

...just chucked up both a 100 and 80 high version together to compare - the overall width here is 900

I prefer the 100 version, in the 80 version both the logo's are a bit fuzzy as is the writing. But since I am yet to make a banner I will be happy with whatever is decided.

is more the size than the content that im testing here - the fuzz is just me being lazy and resizing in Pbucket, as well as some effects that might better be left off

ill be adjusting this themed concept of the actual content so the SDG logo would cover the height and not loose the sharpness - but not until the size issue is resolved

Preferring Mr Giant's at the moment, doesn't look quite as stretched and squashy. Looking spiffy! Big Grin
