Help I am having adverts popping up in these forums? I don't know if it is my computer that has picked up a bug or some one has hacked us. Basically some words are double underlined and when i pass the mouse over them if=t comes up with an advert?

I had the same prob a few weeks ago! it was adware/malware, I rekon I got mine from a facebook link Sad

I am disappointed that my Norton 360 did not prevent or detect the problem. I downloaded and ran the old faithful Spybot Seek and Destroy but that too did not fix the problem. Finally downloaded Malwarebytes. It did the job.

AVG, Norton, etc don't seem to do jack these days except use up system resources.

Currently I've had the best luck with Microsoft Security Essentials and Spybot Search & Destroy.

Solves most problems.
